Strengthening our Gatwick Banking team
We are further strengthening our Banking team at our newly opened Gatwick office with the appointment of a new Senior Associate, Ian Sharrock, from Irwin Mitchell.
Ian Sharrock has specialist expertise in banking & finance, advising both lenders and borrowers on key corporate issues including acquisition finance, real estate finance and corporate banking. Prior to his time at Irwin Mitchell, Ian also worked at Clifford Chance.
His appointment supports us as we grow our client base in this strategically important location and expand our presence across the south east, in addition to our offices in Milton Keynes and London’s Chancery Lane.
This follows the announcement that Gurpreet Sanghera, Principal in our Corporate team, is re-locating to head up the Gatwick office, along with new Principal hires Sarah Naylor and Frank Bouette. Sarah and Frank were formerly partners in Irwin Mitchell’s banking and restructuring teams respectively.
Our Chairman Ian Morris says, “As we expand our new office in Gatwick, we are continually enhancing the depth and breadth of expertise we offer, and Ian’s appointment is a vital part of that.”
“His specialist skills and experience are an excellent fit with our existing capabilities. We are continuing to add to our already strong banking team that enables us to help corporate lenders and businesses to get deals done successfully and on schedule.”
“We’re thrilled to have Ian on board as we develop our presence in this part of the south east, as a high quality, genuine alternative to London firms.”
Ian Sharrock says, “I’m delighted to be joining EMW at such an exciting time and to be a part of the team in Gatwick building up EMW’s standing in the Surrey/Sussex area.”
“I look forward to continuing to help corporate lenders to grow their books in this market and assisting businesses and entrepreneurs in the area to meet all their banking and finance needs.”
