Produce Packaging acquires Innavisions Limited
Our Corporate Team led by Tracy Evans, with support from Priya Magar (Employment), Stefan Dingelstad (Commercial, Technology and Data) and Gemma Goff (Property) advised Produce Packaging, the packaging division of family-owned company H.L. Hutchinson, which is one of the UK's leading agricultural and horticultural input advice and supply companies on its acquisition of Innavisions Limited.
Innavisions was founded in 2000 by Paul Bagnall and Nick Wild. The business specialises in injection moulded and thermoformed packaging for the food manufacturing industry which is tamper evident or film sealable and is partnered with a number of key leading European packaging manufacturers.
Produce Packaging, which has sites in Kent, Lincolnshire, Herefordshire and Angus (Scotland), specialises in working with fresh foods and the acquisition is set to expand its footprint in the food manufacturer sector.
Gordon McKechnie Finance Director of H.L. Hutchinson comments:
"This acquisition provided an exciting opportunity for Produce Packaging and Innavisions to benefit from their respective strengths and resources. The EMW team supported us very effectively in completing this transaction."
Tracy Evans comments:
"It was clear from the outset that this transaction would be a great opportunity for both companies to collaborate effectively and pioneer innovation in the packaging sector. It was a privilege to have played a part on their journey to continued development and success. We wish the management team a highly successful future."
