Meditor Group Purchases Flooring Supplies.co.uk

We recently advised the shareholders of FlooringSupplies.co.uk on their sale to a subsidiary of Meditor Holdings Limited (“Meditor”), which also owns Carpetright.

FlooringSupplies.co.uk was founded in 1986 by Adrian Lee and is predominantly an e-commerce business but also trades from retail locations in Croydon, Edmonton, Lakeside and Thetford.

"FlooringSupplies.co.uk will continue to operate independently. The acquisition will extend Meditor’s reach into the digital flooring space and strengthen its overall position in the flooring sector."

Our initial discussions started before any terms were agreed and this enabled us to assist the shareholders in structuring a deal that achieved the aims of all the parties. We can add maximum value to business owners when we are involved in those very early stages.

FlooringSupplies.co.uk has been and continues to be very well placed to benefit from the recent surge in online retail purchases and this acquisition presents an excellent strategic move for all parties.

Adrian Lee, founder of FlooringSupplies.co.uk said:

"Gurpreet’s strategic advice throughout this process has been invaluable. Those very early stage discussions enabled us to achieve the right deal for all of us. The availability and expertise of Gurpreet and all his team made what can be an extremely stressful time when going through this process much easier, I would not hesitate to recommend Gurpreet and his team to any person that is contemplating a sale process.”
