Growthdeck Limited fundraise into Maven Leisure Limited

We recently acted for Growthdeck Limited, a private equity firm, that successfully completed a fundraise into Maven Leisure Limited.

Growthdeck is a private investor network that provides tax efficient and growth investment opportunities to its expanding network of sophisticated private investors, partners and introducers.

Maven Leisure Limited was established by the current owners and senior management of ETM Group Limited, an operator of 13 premium bars, pubs and restaurants in Central London including rooftop bar Aviary, The Botanist Sloane Square, premium sports bars Greenwood, Westwood and Redwood and its brew and sports pub, Long Arm Pub & Brewery.

Daisy Divoka, who led our team, commented “We are delighted to have worked with Growthdeck on their investment into Maven Leisure. This investment demonstrates that there is appetite from investors to seek suitable opportunities in the food and drink sector, notwithstanding the countless challenges that this sector has faced since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Steve Talbot, Investment Director at Growthdeck, comments: “It was a pleasure working with Daisy and the EMW team on this transaction. Their clear and pragmatic approach ensured that the process of agreeing legals was well organised and delivered a positive result. Our investors acknowledged the quality of the Maven Leisure management team and the opportunity for growth in a sector that has suffered severely from the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Our team was led by Daisy Divoka, assisted by Hollie Tompkins and Amanda de-Bruyn. Employment support by Andra Stanton.
