£1.5 million investment for Secured By Design

We have recently advised automotive technology developer Secured By Design (SBD) on their £1.5 million investment from Albion Ventures, which will fund innovative research into cutting edge automotive technology. This latest investment is expected to help fund further research into the development of autonomous vehicles and will also drive new advancements in vehicle connectivity and automotive cyber securities.

SBD specialises in research, assessment and strategic support for vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and investors. It is based in Milton Keynes, where this new investment is focused, but has offices in Japan, North American and India. 

Their current client base includes major automotive manufacturers Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen, and further investment will only strengthen their global presence. Attracting investment into the UK automotive sector is especially important as the sector has this year achieved record growth and is once again becoming a major player in the global market.
