Building on our expertise in leading M&A work - Awarded deal of the year
Awarded Deal of the Year by Insider South East Dealmakers Awards 2017
“We are very pleased to have acted for Rockpool on this transaction; we have developed a fantastic working relationship and continue to fine tune a formula deal structure to help make the investment and acquisition process as streamlined and straightforward as possible. The deal continues to build on EMW’s expertise and ability in leading M&A work. We are very much looking forward to working with Rockpool again in the near future.”
We recently acted for private equity firm Rockpool Investments on its investment into Hydralectric Group Limited, a Surrey based business which provides a range of valves and flexible hose assemblies, selling mainly to manufacturers of showers, drinks vending machines, boilers, catering equipment, mobile homes and medical equipment.
Hydralectric was established in 1976 and is thought to be the largest supplier of valves and hose assemblies in the UK market and has a strong reputation for quality. Hydralectric differentiates itself by helping manufacturers to solve their problems, rather than just offering standard products. It has a particularly strong presence in sectors where customers value high quality.
Anthony Francis, Investment Manager at Rockpool, comments: “We faced a tight deadline on this transaction and the EMW team demonstrated a methodical understanding of the issues and utilised that knowledge in a practical way to get the deal done. Simon’s technical expertise and commercially minded approach is of great assistance to Rockpool and we look forward to maintaining a productive relationship with EMW in the future.”
Rockpool is an independent firm dedicated to creating investment opportunities for individuals through private investment.
The EMW team was led by Principal Simon Arkell (corporate) with assistance from Principal Jody Bingham (banking) and Associate Kirsty Simmonds (corporate), as well as the real estate and commercial services team.
