Bushboard deal completes

“We are very pleased to have been instructed by Bushboard on this transaction. The sellers are long standing clients of EMW and we have developed a fantastic working relationship with them over the past 16 years. We were up against a tight deadline, but the hard work of the EMW team showed what a quick turn around we can offer our clients. We wish the shareholders every success in the next stage of their journey”.

We recently advised the shareholders of Bushboard Holdings Limited in relation to the disposal of its entire issued share capital to Wilsonart Limited.

Based in Wellingborough and established in 1933, Bushboard specialises in the creation and manufacturing of worktops and wall systems for the kitchen and bathroom sectors. Wilsonart, primarily based in the US, manufactures engineered surface options for use in furniture, office and retail spaces, countertops, worktops and other applications. The acquisition of Bushboard is a strategic move for Wilsonart as it looks to bring new technology, new products and new routes to market within the European Group.

Stuart White, Head of Projects at Bushboard, comments: “Consistent attention to detail is the reason that we have instructed EMW since our management buy out in 2000 and trusted them to manage this transaction. We were extremely pleased with the work of the EMW team; the guidance and advice provided was clear, commercial and to the highest level”.

The EMW team was led by Chairman, Ian Morris with assistance from Solicitor, Sean Halliwell.
