We’re delighted to have acted for Barwood Capital in connection with its recent investment into the acquisition of a site for the development of 10 contemporary family homes in Woking.
Barwood Capital is a UK regional investment and development specialist who continue to create value and drive growth into the regional markets of the UK. Founded in 2009, its primary focus is to deliver consistently strong returns to investors, providing access to value that sits outside the central London market.
Steve Chambers, Director at Barwood Capital, commented:
"We’re delighted to have completed another investment in conjunction with Kidbrook Homes under our BRIP residential investment fund. EMW continue to be a valued professional partner of Barwood Capital and I’d like to thank Sean and the rest of the EMW team for their continued assistance and valued support on these transactions."
To date, Barwood Capital has invested over £300m into UK regional real estate, creating £620m in value and has delivered an average investor return of 14% per annum, with a repeat investor rate of over 70%. This recent investment at Woking is its fourth investment under its 03/19 residential investment fund following previous investments at sites in Milton Keynes, Royston and Wimbledon respectively.
Sean Halliwell, Associate at EMW, commented “it was a pleasure to assist Barwood Capital once again with this investment, and even more so during the current lockdown period which presented a few new challenges to overcome. I’m looking forward to working with Steve and the Barwood Capital team again with their remaining investments under the 03/19 fund in the upcoming months”.
