Axis Group sale to Bidvest Noonan

Axis Group sale to Bidvest Noonan

We’re delighted to have advised the selling shareholders of a longstanding client, Axis Group, on their sale to Bidvest Noonan.

Axis Group is a leading UK provider of security, cleaning and front of house services and employs 4,000 people across hundreds of sites. Axis Group has nine regional offices and a strong presence across a range of industry sectors including Corporate, Retail, Transport, Manufacturing and Public Sector. Bidvest Noonan, part of Bidvest Group, is a leading outsourcing provider in the UK and Ireland and the transaction is one stage of their ongoing growth strategy.

Jonathan Levine, exiting CEO of Axis Group, remarked: “Having worked with EMW for a number of years, it was only fitting that we should instruct them on the disposal of Axis. Once again, EMW provided valuable, commercial advice and worked tirelessly to ensure there was a smooth transition to sale. We thank them for all their hard work.”

Ian Morris, Principal in the Corporate team at EMW, commented: “We were delighted to support the shareholders of our long standing client Axis Group on their sale. Our journey with the management team started with a buy out from private equity in 2015 and we continued to provide corporate and commercial support to Axis Group during  the buy out period and right through to exit. It’s another great example of how EMW look to build long term relationships, not just to transact deals.”

Our team was led by Ian Morris and was assisted by Daisy Divoka, Emma Bulleyment, Jemima Clarke, Priya Magar, Marcus Carter, Christopher Scerri and Andra Stanton.

Grant Thornton provided the selling shareholders with Corporate Finance advice.
