What we're up to
We're proud to have pledged for the Time to Change campaign. We want to raise awareness and encourage conversation around mental health at EMW.
The campaign is driven by our CEO, Joy Vollans, who comments: “Tackling mental health stigma and discrimination in the workplace should be at the top of all employers’ agendas. I'm delighted that we at EMW have signed up to an initiative which has the wellbeing of our colleagues at its core”.
We are delighted to announce that we are headline sponsors for this year's Cycle4Cynthia, a charity bike ride to support Northampton based hospice Cynthia Spencer.
A group of us ran 10K in September to raise money for Stonewall, a great charity who support the LGBT+ community. Thanks to your support, we managed to raise £1115.50 for Stonewall!
In July we held our annual employee conference, The Big O! Each year we get all our employees from across our offices together and reflect on the past year and look forward to the next. We celebrate our successes and make plans for the future, and afterwards we enjoy a lovely BBQ.
Two of our Principals, James Geary and Joy Vollans teamed up with local charity Willen Hospice to cycle from Milton Keynes to Paris. Although the weather was very warm, the team pushed through and completed the ride in four days. Raising almost £20,000 in total!
