Seminar: Consumer Rights Act 2015

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 is one of the single biggest changes to UK consumer law in a generation. The Act will now almost certainly come into force in October 2015. This seminar is your chance to find out what the Act says before it comes into force and will include:

  • An explanation of the new rights that consumers will have;
  • What law has been consolidated and why;
  • A review of new enhanced consumer measures;
  • The interconnection with other EU/UK consumer rights law including distance selling rights; and
  • What does it all mean in practice? Tips and traps for business.

Come and discuss these updates and put your questions to our specialist lawyers.

Employment seminar: Atypical working

The press is full of reports about the rise of part-time, fixed term and temporary jobs. More and more employers are allowing (and even encouraging) flexible working. But what do these concepts mean and what are the legal frameworks that surround each.
In this session we will look at:

  • Part time working;
  • Fixed term working,
  • Zero hours contracts,
  • Flexible working and others.

Come along and find out the answers to these and many more questions...
